Amy Winehouse’s untimely death shocked the world this summer, but her fashion legacy is living on. To coincide with the release of her posthumous album Lioness: Hidden Treasures, Fred Perry is releasing some selected pieces from her last collection for the label. And it focuses on Ms Winehouse's unique fashion flavour. The pieces are consistent with her past collections and reflect her love of all things from the Fifties. This collection specifically references art deco Miami, and features a print of Cadillacs, jukeboxes and cat-eye sunglasses. The print has a comic strip look and shows up on a shirt dress, a bowling bag, a cropped tie shirt, and a belt. The other pieces include a range of sweaters (argyle, pastels, and gingham), cropped shorts, pedal pushers, and a halter dress.

Amy began her collaboration with Fred Perry in March 2010 and, following the success of her first collection, she had been working on a further two for the upcoming seasons. The collection of 14 pieces from the singer’s spring 2012 line is available to buy online now at www.fredperry.com. The royalties and fees from the collection are being donated to The Amy Winehouse Foundation, and Fred Perry will also make a seasonal donation to the charity.
