Vaseline, a.k.a. petroleum jelly is a beauty staple that every girl should have in their makeup bag. You might be surprised of all of the things Vaseline can do for you. It just celebrated its 142nd birthday, so there must be a reason why it has lasted through all of these years! Here’s 30 beauty related tricks you can do with vaseline:

1. It makes your eyelashes and eyebrows grow: Put a coat on your eyelashes before you go to bed (use an old mascara brush to make application easier). Lots of people swear by this – and say it will make your eyelashes longer and thicker in no time. It also works brilliantly on over plucked brows!

2. Soften dry and cracked elbows.

3. Dry cuticles: Store a mini-Vaseline container in your purse and put Vaseline on your cuticles several times a day for softer and better looking cuticles.

4. For kissable, luscious lips: Vaseline is there for you and your irresistible pout. You can also mix Vaseline with some lip gloss or part of an old lipstick to make a coloured lip balm.

5. Flavoured Lip Balm; Melt Vaseline and one chocolate chip in the microwave, mix and let resolidify for chocolate lip gloss! Yum!!
